Kitchen Designer London | Kitchen Renovator

About Us

I’m a kitchen designer who creates kitchens that reflect and represent your lifestyle and how you cook. From the first look to the final fit, everything is designed to your preference.

Being an independent kitchen designer based in London allows me to work freely, without being tied to any single supplier or sales target. My sole focus is to create a kitchen that fits your space, budget and vision.

Who we are:

About London Kitchen Designer

Hi, I’m Mike Dale. I’ve been creating magic with bespoke kitchen designs and installation for 25 years, and before (and alongside) that I was in the building trade for 30+ years. In my career as a kitchen designer, I have designed and installed around 500 kitchens across London and East London.

I believe in a customer-centric approach. That means every recommendation, from layout to materials, is based on what suits your home and budget. Every project, be it a new kitchen, a bathroom, or a complete room refurbishment, is made exactly how you desire, with premium materials and bespoke craftsmanship.

Why Work With London Kitchen Design

Personalised Customer Service

You don’t need to contact different teams. I handle all your design and installation needs. From technical decisions, payments, and appliance advice to any post-installation adjustments, you can speak directly with me. The best part is that the design process is a collaboration, you can have as much or as little say as you like. I will send a layout, then you make the changes you want. I then go ahead and refine the design using your feedback, that’s how the magic is created and perfected.

My working process is very transparent- every quote is itemised. That means you can easily compare costs. Nothing is hidden. Everything is straightforward and discussed upfront.

Free Post-Installation Inspection

After everything is installed, I return after 3 months for an inspection. I check that everything has settled in properly and make any small adjustments that are needed. On top of that, every installation carries a 3-year guarantee as well as guarantees on individual products.

Unique Designs

Standard cabinets are good, but with my team you get cabinets and doors in custom sizes. I can provide unique styles and an extensive range that match your dream kitchen perfectly. The units are built from solid timber- these are things that a catalogue normally can’t provide, but I do.

Easy and Quick Payment

Once you’re ready to proceed, a deposit secures your project, with the remaining balance due on satisfactory completion.

Let's Build a Kitchen You'll Still Love in Ten Years

A good kitchen should do more than look right on the day it’s finished. It should hold up to daily cooking, family life, and years of use and still be a space you’re glad to start each morning in. That’s the design standard I provide, whether the project is a single room or a full home renovation.

If you’re planning a kitchen built to last, get in touch and let’s talk through what your home needs.

Mike remodelled our kitchen to our satisfaction, working closely with us to understand our requirements and giving us very helpful advice - it's not easy to make decisions and his suggestions made a difference. Our kitchen is tiny and he worked very hard to make the most of the limited space, which was exactly what we needed. We are very happy with our new kitchen and we'd like thank Mike and team.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We worked very closely with Mike Dale on the design of our kitchen through early 2023. He was very knowledgeable and supportive as our project advanced. Having him and his fitter, Jamie, undertake the installation ensured a top quality job. We highly recommend Mike Dale of London Kitchen Design.

Would highly recommend, Mike and Jamie have created us a wonderful kitchen living room that has totally transformed the way we live. Help design all the little details that we wouldn't have thought of to make the kitchen such a practical useful space. Incredibly accommodating, happy to change things once done if unhappy with the look of and a great final finish. Overall very happy with!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We couldn’t be happier with the kitchen remodel that Mike and his team did for us. From start to finish, everything was completed very professionally and in excellent time. 2.5 years later and the kitchen is still in excellent shape, with everything working perfectly. It was quite a small space to work with, but Mike helped us make the most of it. Would highly recommend his services!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Mike and his team did a great job on my kitchen. Despite the CV-19 lockdown having to set us back a bit, he was great at keeping in touch, ready to get going when it was possible to do so. The guys on site were always polite, letting me know what they'd be working on next and I'm really pleased with the end result. Edit - just to add that there were a couple of small snags that I asked Mike to come back and fix. Both times he got in touch very quickly to arrange a time to come round and the issues were sorted no problem.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Mike was nothing short of superb from start to finish. Great communication, great ideas, and it's really evident how much he loves what he does. If you are considering getting your kitchen done I simply could not recommend him highly enough. He listened to exactly what we wanted, and helped solve problems that we didn't even recognise were there but have made such a difference to the finished product. The team that were on site everyday were excellent, efficient and very respectful, ensuring that disruption was kept to a minimum, while keeping us informed of exactly what was happening and when. No matter who you have already spoken to about your new kitchen, I would really recommend giving Mike a call. You've nothing to lose and everything to gain!
